5 Beauty Must-haves for Travelling

What do you really need when going on a trip? You can't possibly bring your entire shelf of beauty products. Due to weight restrictions on your suitcase, you'll have to do without some of your beauty products. Don't worry! We've narrowed down to a list of 5 beauty must-haves for travelling without compromising on caring for your skin.

#1 - Sunscreen
According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, sunscreen is an important part of a complete sun protection strategy. When used as directed, sunscreen is proven to decrease your risk of skin cancers and skin pre-cancers. It also helps prevent premature skin aging caused by the sun, including wrinkles, sagging and age spots. You should apply 30 minutes before heading outdoors and diligently reapply every two hours.
#2 - Moisturiser or Sheet Mask
You cannot travel without a moisturiser. It keeps your skin smooth while giving your face an all over brightness and radiance. However, if you’re planning to bring along sheet masks, then skip the moisturiser because the right sheet masks allow hydrating ingredients to saturate the skin. It’s easier to pack sheet masks into your suitcases.
#3 - Hand Sanitiser
You'll encounter many dirty bathrooms and places when travelling, whether by air or land or sea. Even if you are not a germaphobe, it's good to carry a hand sanitiser around. Remember to sanitise your hands after touching any surface.

#4 - Tinted Lip Balm
Your lips are prone to become dry, cracked and chapped while travelling, especially when it's so dry on the planes. This is not only annoying but can also be painful at times. Bring along a tinted lip balm to keep your lips moisturised. With so many variations of tinted lip balms in the market now, you can choose those with a hint of colour. You’ll not only be taking care of your lips; you’ll look refreshed and radiant too.

#5 - Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has numerous uses from treating burns and acne to moisturising dry skin and more. This soothing gel is most ideal for tropical destinations. It acts as a body lotion too, so you don’t have to bring an additional bottle of body lotion just to keep your skin hydrated.
Even when you’re having lots of fun during your trip, don’t forget to take good care of your skin.
